Who's behind it

We come from farming ourselves

Before Potabo was created, we surveyed potato farms in Germany: seed potato breeders, packing operations, direct marketers. The result was the same everywhere: stocks are well maintained at intake, and in spring everyone is searching. Not because work is done poorly. But because every grading creates new residual quantities, because slips of paper become illegible and because most of the knowledge is in one person's head. Anyone who sees the hall every day knows this. Potabo was built precisely for this. Not as an ERP system for everything, but as a reliable overview of what you have in store.

Do I need special hardware?
No. A normal smartphone or tablet for the team is usually enough. If you want to work with labels, a simple label printer can be added later.
How long does setup take?
Usually a few days. We help you build your digital store: we set up halls, boxes and positions together with you, so the structure matches your farm.
Will my team cope with it?
Yes. Anyone who knows a store finds their way immediately: tap what you touch. An introduction takes a quarter of an hour, and for seasonal staff a quick look at the phone is enough.
What does Potabo cost?
Low entry cost, scope as needed. We discuss the exact price personally, because it depends on how many sites and users you need.
Who owns my data?
You do. Your storage data stays your data. We do not pass it on and we disclose where it is held on request. You can get an export at any time.
